Young Girl Squeezes Under Barn To Save Trapped Puppy
When seven-year-old Nina Boyett and her aunt discovered a puppy trapped in a tight space beneath the family barn, the little girl didn't waste a second trying to save the Australian Shepherd mix. The puppy had managed to get caught in a spot "just a little longer than the length of an iPhone," and young Nina was the only one small enough to fit beneath the beams.
As soon as Nina reached the puppy, who appears to be just around 10 days old, she immediately asked, "Can we keep it?" She has since named the puppy -- the only in her litter to survive -- Princess Nina. She, Princess Nina, and the puppy's mother are all reportedly doing well.
