The prestigious Wildlife Photographer of the Year Contest offers a fascinating and beautiful glimpse into those habitats and ecosystems few of us are lucky enough to experience. The photos create narratives which range from stunning, to humorous, to poignant. This year the contest has a new category: People's Choice. The judges have narrowed down the entries to the top 50, allowing the public to vote on their favorite photo.
