What Happens When You Build A Playground For A Bunch Of Rescued Elephants?

These elephants have had hard lives -- they've been separated from their natural herds, injured by Burmese landmines, rescued from performing in the streets of Bangkok and in almost all cases saved from abuse and injury. So, when the Elephant Nature Park, a sanctuary in Northern Thailand, installed an elephant-sized playground, the elephants had to celebrate.

First, they got to know (and love) the tire.

There was pulling ...

... and dragging.

They were finally kickin' it.

And kickin' it some more.

The herd spends hours a day prodding, poking and pounding the playground.

Until it's ele love all over.
