Here a honey badger named Stoffel, rescued from a trap and sent to live at an animal rehab center in Kruger National Park in South Africa, manages to outwit even the most secure-seeming means of keeping him contained.
His keeper, conservationist Brian Jones, details several of the Houdini-like honey badger's more impressive escapes.
"This is like a game for Stoffel," says a befuddled Jones. "Every time I devise some plan it was like a game for him to work out how could he get over this."
Given Stoffel's persistence in his numerous attempts to return to the wild, it's hard not to be rooting that one day he makes it out for good.
