Early in her life, Sophie, an English bulldog, stunned owner Kathryn Miller by joyfully rolling over in different areas of the family's backyard. The very first time Sophie decided to roll around, however, she happened to be on a sloping hill -- and Miller happened to have her camera. "She did this within a few days of us getting her, when she was about three months old," Miller said. "She is now six months old and still does it on occasion. I did not teach her to do this, as my rolling skills are not as good."
Miller said she was "terrified" that Sophie had somehow fallen down the hill when the dog first threw herself to the ground and rolled, so she went and retrieved the puppy to make sure she was okay. "I put her back and she just did it again and again," Miller said. "She did it four more times with such gusto we realized she was just having a ball!"
Worried that the dog might have "issues," Miller contacted her breeder to see if there was anything else she should know. Turns out, there was one piece of information Miller was missing: "Sophie's mother did the same thing!"
