Speedy Dog Who Raced Metro-North Train Finds A New Home

The stray dog who made headlines after racing alongside a Metro-North train in New York City last week has found a new home. Tie, a shepherd-collie mix with plenty of personality, chased after a commuter train for a mile and a half, at times matching its speed, before making it safely to the 125th Street station in Harlem. She was taken immediately to an animal rescue, but she didn't have to stay long. According to Animal Care & Control NYC, Tie drew hundreds of inquiries and dozens of applications for adoption before the shelter selected her new family, the Millers.
