Even smart birds of prey can get stuck after chasing prey in an unknown place. This sparrowhawk flew into a barn while chasing a swift.

Raptors will always fly up, but won't have the reflex to fly down through the doors. They can be stuck like that for days.

Luckily for this handsome male sparrowhawk, Sandy, one of our volunteer rescuers, went to the rescue! Obviously, after being caught, the bird had a go at the rescuer, but Sandy had none of it and released him straight back out!
