Position: Senior Video Editor

Location: New York City Seeking: We are looking for a full-time Senior Video Editor to join our growing video team. As our ideal candidate, you have at least 5 years of relevant experience and a talent for balancing speed with quality when it comes to video production. You'll be a key contributor from conception to execution, helping brainstorm, pitch and bring to life ideas that will help diversify and grow The Dodo's video content. Your average day will be a mix of cutting videos, assisting with video edits on peer pieces, side projects, big picture thinking and making improvements to operational processes (we are always iterating!). You'll always have one eye on how to increase video views and another on how to enhance the company's brand.

Position Qualifications: Candidates should have superior editing skills, a strong editorial voice and experience creating an entire video- from sourcing online content (YouTube, Instagram, Facebook) to using After Effects to add text and graphics. Think everything from heartwarming animal rescue profiles to a mashup of WTF animals that will be widely shareable across social media platforms.
