Seal Climbs Aboard Kayak, Then Slips Off Oh So Elegantly

A kayaker and a seal have struck up an unlikely acquaintance. Water sport enthusiast Andrew Linstead and this seal, nicknamed Ron (or "Ronseal"), have bumped into each other occasionally for the past few months off the coast of Studland, England.

"It's unusual for seals to get so close to humans, as they usually like to keep a safe distance, so it sounds like the same seal to me," Dorset Wildlife Trust's Julie Hatcher told the Bournemouth Echo.

Just because he's familiar with kayaks, however, doesn't mean he's great at staying on them:
