Adorable Rescued Moon Bears Playing Around

Animals Asia has rescued more than 500 bears from bear bile farms in China and Vietnam. Once rescued their rehabilitation begins in semi-natural enclosures designed to encourage natural behaviours.

For us, one of the greatest indicators of the bears welfare needs being met, is to see them "going wild" just as nature intended.

Moon bears love water – it cools them down, it's a great place for wrestling and it's a whole load of fun as this clip of Georges proves.

Bamboo swings are always a hit with moon bears. They wrestle over them, sleep on them and every once in a while seem to get the hang of actually swinging on them.
