Pigs Rescued From Slaughter See Snow For The First Time
Anna and Maybelle Stewart were summer babies, born in June of 2015.
But nothing could prepare them for what would soon fall from the sky.
The two famous rescued pigs totally dug the snowfall, which they just experienced for the very first time.
"If Anna and Maybelle were raised for meat, they would have been slaughtered at just 6 months old," the Daily Squeal pointed out. "Instead, at 9 months, Anna and Maybelle are experiencing something many pigs never will - their first snowfall!"
By the way, the Stewarts are teaming up with Farm Sanctuary to open a fourth location of Farm Sanctuary where Anna and Maybelle live in New Jersey.
And we're giddy as a pig in snow about it. (Let's try and get that expression going!)
