A traumatic childhood set Pamela Anderson on a path to launch The Pamela Anderson Foundation, a nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting animal, environmental and human rights. According to Radar Online, the actress revealed she had suffered a series of sexual abuses during her childhood and teenage years.
Her history of sexual abuse "meant I had a hard time trusting humans," Anderson said, speaking to 200 guests at a launch party for her charity last week.
"My loyalty was to the animal kingdom. I vowed to protect them and only them."
