Orphaned Monkey Shares Emotional Moment With A Friend
A gentle touch, a hug, a moment of connection with someone else - that feels good no matter who you are. Pimi is a spider monkey who lives at Senda Verde, an animal sanctuary in Bolivia.
She has lived there since she was rescued, as an orphan, in 2011.
When Goska Swiatoczamigoski went to stay at the sanctuary, she and Pimi became fast friends. It's clear from looking at these two that they share a special relationship.
Pimi even pulls her in for a closer hug, like she's saying "I'm glad you're here."
When animals like Pimi are orphaned, they rely on people to give them the best life possible. It's clear that Pimi feels safe in the arms of her human friends.
