10 Olympic Athletes Who Are Missing Their Pets SO MUCH Right Now

When you're a world-renowned Olympic athlete competing for your country, it's not unusual to have to be away from home for weeks and weeks at a time. This year's Olympians have been kicking butt in Rio and taking home countless medals, but at the end of the day, so many of them can't wait to finally go home and see the ones they left behind - their pets.

Gymnast Simone Biles has already won three gold medals this year, but when she's not competing, she loves to slow down and get some much needed love from her dog.

Swimmer Ryan Lochte had to put his dogs Carter and Yeezy into boarding while he's away ...

... and he's not afraid to tell the world exactly how much he misses them.

Cody Miller, another swimmer, spent his days before Rio relaxing with his pups ...

... and can't wait to get home to see which is heavier, his dog or his brand new medal.

Gymnast Aly Raisman loves her dog, Gibson, and even though he misses her while she's away ...

... he supports her career 100 percent and isn't afraid to show it.

Swimmer Dana Vollmer can't wait to finally get home for some long overdue snuggling ...

... and judo champion Kayla Harrison is no doubt missing bath time with her fur baby.

Swimmer Michael Phelps loves relaxing with his dog and family when he's not dominating the pool ...

... and so does swimmer Conor Dwyer, who happens to have matching eyes with his pup.

Tennis champ Jack Sock can't wait to go home and see his dog Dash ...

... and meet the newest member of his family, Kona.

Track and field champ Michelle Carter gets escorted to the airport by her dog Ryder when she leaves for her various competitions, and will hopefully be greeted by him when she brings home the gold, too.

These athletes all love competing and making their country proud ... but it seems they might love their pets even more. Here's hoping they're all reunited soon.
