The passengers of an open safari tour bus in Kruger National Park in South Africa had an up-close encounter with a huge elephant -- maybe too close, in fact. As tourists filmed, the animal approached the vehicle, sniffing around and even taking a moment to smell the head of one of the passengers.
It's worth noting that these animals are wild and can be dangerous, and it's not really advisable to be this close to them (though this elephant seemed to enjoy the encounter).
