Maribeth was rescued a day before she was slotted for slaughter at a dairy farm. Due to a "bum leg" she was not worth raising for production. Fortunately she got to Woodstock Farm Animal Sanctuary and went through months of treatment of a systemic infection that was messing up her leg joints.
