Man Kindly Gets Up To Give Sea Lion A Seat On A Bench

When someone else needs a seat, the polite thing to do is to get up and offer yours. That's exactly what this tourist in the Galapagos did for a weary sea lion who climbed up on the dock bench -- he even gave up his bag so the friendly sea lion could have a pillow.

The man made a good choice -- it's never a good idea to be near marine mammals, for their safety and for ours. Not to mention it's likely illegal -- laws vary by country, but in the U.S., it's illegal to touch a wild marine mammal. So next time an exhausted sea lion approaches, be kind like this man, and give up your seat.
