This young kangaroo has developed one pretty incredible bond with his caretaker.

His name is Jimmy and he lives at Australia's Kangaroo Sanctuary, Alice Springs.

He was rescued back in January after his mother passed away.

Ever since, he's been featured frequently on the sanctuary's Facebook page. Undoubtedly, Jimmy's favorite activity is following around his "dad," Chris "Brolga" Barns, whom you may recognize from the 2013 documentary "Kangaroo Dundee."

Barns sometimes refers to himself as Jimmy's "mum," and when they're not holding hands ...

... Jimmy likes to stick close to his dad's feet.

He also loves going on walks ...

... and drives.

But just because Jimmy adores his dad doesn't mean he's a stranger to other kangaroos. He likes meeting up with other orphans like himself ...

... as well as snuggling with them.

He's certainly growing up to be one well-rounded 'roo.

But Jimmy knows he can always lean on his dad whenever he needs a helping hand.

Check out the story of Roger, another kangaroo at the sanctuary, who's famous for his ripped muscles (seriously).
