What an amazing show of passion and outrage towards the UK Government and it's attempts to repeal the hunting act. Such was the overwhelming response from over 80% of the Britiish public that politicians from all political persuations joined the campaign to save these beautiful creatures from the most barbaric cruelty. #KEEPTHEBAN and the protests in London sent the message WE DO NOT WANT CRUEL BLOOD SPORTS IN THIS COUNTRY. It was a victory for the rights of animals and a victory for all the animal lovers in this country.
We know we will have to keep battling for badgers foxes hares and all animals under threat of persecution and cruelty.
THE POWER OF THE TWITTER STORM Love or hate Twitter there is no denying that it can be used for great causes especially when it comes to being the voice for animals.
For animal lovers like myself who despair at the atrocities towards animals all around the world still going on we have a way of doing something to help and united in twitterland by our passion and determination we can make a difference. Lives are saved, awareness raised, governments made to listen and animals rescued, homed, found and given the love, care and medical attention needed.
