A group of clothing brands has pledged to suspend the use of angora products until allegations of unethical treatment can be investigated, following a video that was released last month showing rabbits getting their fur ripped out, allegedly shot at angora farms in China. A total of 35 brands, including retailers like Marks & Spencer, Calvin Klein, H&M and Topshop, said that they would stop manufacturing the material, after viewing the video.

PETA claims that the video in reference is typical for an angora farm, and that there is no way to produce angora without endangering animals.

The video can be seen at PETA’s website. [WARNING: Graphic images].
