When tiny animals do absolutely anything, it's adorable, but when tiny animals we don't see very often do things for the VERY FIRST time? It's literally the cutest thing ever.

This pygmy hippo at Australia's Melbourne Zoo has decided it's time to take his very first swim ... and his eyes just light up as he paddles around.

Just look at his facial expressions as he swims about. Pure gold. We'd love even more to see him splashing around in the wild, but this guy is having a blast in his pool. So happy for you, baby hippo. May you live a long life with many swims ahead of you!
