Shelter Dog CANNOT Contain Her Excitement About Getting Adopted

This picture pretty much sums up what's it's like for a dog to go from zero to someone's hero in just a few days.

Taken last week and posted to Facebook, this picture shows Coso, a 7-year-old Australian sheepdog mix, just moments after being adopted.

Yes, that's her new family. And those are Coso's paws high in the air. Free at last.

She had been languishing at a shelter in Melbourne, Australia, after her family decided they couldn't take care of her anymore. But over the weekend, Lort Smith Animal Hospital, which is also a rescue, hauled her out of there.

Just a few days later, she was on her way to her forever home.
