These Sick Geese Just Fell In Love At The Bird Hospital

"In the recovery room two geese have come to love each other. They talk and share through the pens."

Two geese recovering at Carolina Waterfowl Rescue, in Indian Trail, North Carolina, had no idea they'd find love.

But rescuers noticed that the geese - who are getting better after an outbreak of avian botulism - cannot help but be close to one another.

Kept in different pens while they gain their strength and fight off the paralyzing sickness, the geese have been seen peeking over the walls to gaze at each other.

It's still quite hectic in the bird rescue center, while volunteers are rushing to help the geese, ducks and other birds suffering from the outbreak.

But the birds are all in good hands.

And the tumultuous times have even brought some of them love where they least expect it.
