You might remember Lazarus the cat, but if not, here's a quick recap: Lazarus was found by the Bingham family in Utah last Thanksgiving, buried under freshly fallen snow. He appeared lifeless, but they brought him into the warmth of their house and gave him CPR, and the little kitten returned from the brink of death.
Ever since, Lazarus has been enjoying his new life with his new family.
He also continues to show his gratitude toward the Binghams for saving his life. Recently, Lazarus' owner, Branden Bingham, broke his leg and had to stay overnight in the hospital for surgery. As soon as Bingham returned home, however, Lazarus knew exactly what his dad needed to feel better as soon as possible.

To put it simply, snuggling ...
... lots and lots of snuggling ...
... made even better with purring.
"Just walked into the door, first thing, [he's] right onto my lap," Bingham says in a video he posted, showing just how much Lazarus missed him.
As a matter of fact, he's been keeping careful watch over Bingham's cast ...
... very, very careful watch.
... and of course, giving his owner much-needed recovery licks.
This cat's unwavering dedication is reminiscent of the way Bingham never left Lazarus' side during his time of need all of those months ago.
Now they're like two cozy peas in a pod, and with Nurse Lazarus on the case, we're certain Bingham won't be able to get better post-op treatment anywhere else.
