This Is The Moment Firefighters Brought Him Back To Life

It didn't look good for this young victim of a house fire in Los Angeles.

When firefighters crashed through the door of the burning unit in Koreatown, they found Potato the bulldog. His owner wasn't home. He had been trapped inside.

Potato was unresponsive on the kitchen floor and unable to breathe.

And then, these valorous hearts went to work.

Taking him out to the sidewalk, these brave men plied all their powers of resuscitation.

Oxygen.

Slowly, Potato stirred. Then, arise, Potato! Like a phoeni - a furball from the ashes. Triumphant. Grateful.

Welcome back, Potato. The world needs every beautiful bulldog it can get - as well as every animal-loving firefighter who takes the time to save them.

"I thought the dog was really going to die," witness Martha Sanchez told NBC4. "It was like a movie. They were really fast."

Since the early Thursday morning blaze, Potato has reportedly made a full recovery.
