"It's absolutely clear they were training these dogs to fight. They weren't just messing around with these dogs and if they were that's still animal cruelty," animal rights activist Doll Stanley told WJTV.
The home was raided and the puppies were taken into the custody of Yazoo City Animal Control. Animal control officers told The Dodo that the puppies had been transferred to a nearby shelter, but we've been unable to confirm with local shelters.
