Emus Invade Australian Town, Residents Learn To" Work Around Them"

In Australia, the urban birds are just a little bit larger than in the rest of the world. Longreach, a town in Central West Queensland, Australia, is now home to a pack of emus, who have wandered into a human settlement after a drought eliminated their usual food source. Residents are simply learning to live around them, slowing down to let them cross the road, and even enjoying watching them from windows, Australian Broadcasting Corp. reports.
