Badass Dolphins Steal The Show During Submarine's Unveiling
It was supposed to be this brand new submarine's big day in the sun, taking her very first ocean voyage - but the pristine marvel of modern engineering was soon upstaged by two swimmers even better equipped for getting around at sea.
During the initial sea trials of the USS John Warner, the latest sub set to join the Navy's fleet, a pair of playful dolphins appeared ahead of the vessel. While cameras rolled from above, ostensibly to capture the warship in action, the animals put on a dazzling display - leaping through its bow wave as if to highlight that their natural aquatic prowess is still unrivaled.
Sorry, submarine.
