Since GoPro cameras first arrived on the scene a few years back, the durable little devices have been used to document some of the most impressive and extreme footage ever recorded. But now, thanks to a new camera harness designed especially for dogs, canines can get in on the action too, capturing video from a canine’s point-of-view.
Given that these cameras have made appearances atop animals in the past, it was only a matter of time before GoPro released their own official pet-based video rig.

If history is any indicator, the internet may soon find itself awashed in footage filmed by dogs — but people planning to cash-in on viral videos produced by their pets are bound to be disappointed. Last week, the U.S. Copyright Office updated their policy to stipulate that: “Materials produced solely by nature, by plants, or by animals are not copyrightable.”
Let the age of uncopyrightable dog-cam videos begin!
