It's not often easy to forget that dogs are highly inquisitive investigators, except for when they spot food on the ground. Most dogs will rush to whatever's been dropped and put it in their mouths without even looking at what they're eating -- because why look when a dog can smell?
But what happens when dogs confuse sight and scent, and what they smell doesn't match up with what they see? They might respond like Mini, the corgi in the first video, who confuses a hard candy for either a toy or an indeterminable threat. Similarly, they might knock out whatever's confusing them, like the Boston terrier(s) in the video below.
