Dylan McGarry

Dylan is an independent researcher, practitioner and artist, and carries a trans-disciplinary PhD in Environmental Education at the Environmental Learning Research Centre, at Rhodes University in South Africa. He also carries a Bachelor of Science in Zoology. His academic work to date has mainly revolved around sustainable rural development and social environmental learning. His artwork and creative practice is particularly focused on empathy and imagination. He has illustrated and written several children’s books and other visual artists books that are awaiting publication, one has recently been published by X-Libris Publishers entitled: The Quagga and the Unicorn.
