Little Girl Caught Red-Handed Trying To Sneak Her Puppy To School
She tried her best to play it cool.
When getting ready for school in the morning, it's important for young students to pack all the essentials — books, papers, pencils and perhaps a sack lunch. But this little girl named Alice evidently had a bit more in mind as she prepared to start her day.
She tried to sneak her furry friend along.
Alice, who lives in Brazil, was just about to hop onto the school bus recently when her father Flávio Leanderson noticed something off about her backpack — namely, something inside was moving. That's when he started making a video.
Trying to play it cool, Alice casually zipped up the bag like nothing at all was amiss. But by then, it was already too late.
"Take a look at this. No, ma'am, open your backpack," Leanderson is heard saying. "Are you taking the dog to school, Alice?"
Why, yes. That was clearly Alice's plan.
Despite having been caught red-handed, the attempted puppy-smuggler showed little remorse. Without missing a beat, she tossed her backpack (now free of dogs) over her shoulders and continued on her way.
"Alice and her land of a thousand wonders," Leanderson later wrote in summarizing the incident.
Puppies at school? A kid can only dream.
(But it's hard to blame her for trying.)
