Cat Decides To Take All Her Toys On Little Adventures

Meet Pixie.

This beautiful 12-year-old tuxedo cat lives in the UK with her human, Beth Wilson.

Pixie isn't only a beautiful and loving cat when it comes to her human — she's also very generous with perfectly inanimate objects. 

Curious as all cats are by nature, Pixie enjoys exploring. Indoors or out, Pixie is always wide-eyed and interested in what's around the next corner. And it seems that Pixie wants to provide that spirit of adventure for her many plush toys, too. 

For example, if Pixie enjoys lying on her back in the garden, she seems to infer that a member of her stuffed menagerie could enjoy this, as well, so she brings it along with her.

Other times, when Pixie is seeking something a bit more thrilling than lying on her back with her paws up, she brings one of her toys along, too — be it a little lion, a tiger or a little stuffed tuxedo cat that looks just like her.

"If she notices that I’m watching her, she stops and puts the toy down," Wilson told The Dodo. But sometimes Wilson manages to snap a photo before Pixie notices.

"In summer she likes to take them into the garden," Wilson explained. "Sometimes she just takes them for a tour and then back in the house. Other times, they get left in the greenhouse. If I put a blanket on the grass to sit on, she will put toys on it." 

Just because the weather turns colder doesn't mean Pixie's adventures with her toys stop. 

"In winter she just carries them 'round the house," Wilson said. "She might take several into one room."

Once a week, when a house cleaner comes, Pixie shows just how conscientious she is with her stuffed menagerie.

"She puts all the toys back in the toy box," Wilson said. "As soon as the cleaner leaves she gets several back out of the box and puts them around the house." 

Pixie's adventures aren't just fun and games — they actually have a positive impact on the people around her.  

"I got her as a kitten 12 years ago," Wilson said. "She totally changed my life ... She takes care of me when I’m feeling bad and she always cheers me up." 

Surely her toys would feel the same way, if they could.
