Cat Flips Out Every Time Her Mom Tries To Put On Makeup
“She will sit on my shoulders 9 times out of 10 and will attack my brushes" 😂
Rey became a foster fail when she was just a kitten, and from day one her favorite thing to do with her family has been climbing onto their shoulders. Not only does it get her way up high, but it also allows her to be super close to the people she loves, and a year and a half later she still does it every chance she gets.
“She has been climbing on us for attention ever since she was able to pull herself up our legs,” Louise Deeth, Rey’s mom, told The Dodo. “She has this habit of coming up to you and stretching up your leg, and she has a specific little mew that means, ‘If you don't scoop me up right now, I will just climb my way up with my sharp lil claws.’”
Rey usually likes to hang out on her mom’s shoulders while she’s cooking or cleaning. A few months ago, she decided to try it while her mom was putting on her makeup — and ended up discovering a very fun new game.
As Deeth tries to apply her makeup, Rey will perch on her shoulder and attack her makeup brushes …
… and won’t stop until her mom finishes or just gives up.
“She started interrupting my makeup specifically about three months ago,” Deeth said. “She will sit on my shoulders 9 times out of 10 and will attack my brushes every time.”
Apparently, Rey seems to think her mom is beautiful just the way she is and doesn’t need makeup — and has a very disruptive way of trying to tell her that.
Deeth can’t help but laugh as Rey interrupts her daily makeup routine, because she knows there’s no way to stop her. She’ll always find a way to get up onto her mom’s shoulders, and will always try to interrupt whatever she’s doing while up there — and her mom loves her so much anyway.
“We adore her, and even though she bites our feet at 4 a.m. every night without fail, we wouldn't have her any other way,” Deeth said.
