Channing Tatum Posts Sweetest Tribute To His Family’s Beloved Pet
Channing Tatum has shared a heartening black-and-white photo of his 2-year-old daughter, Everly, standing with her pet goat, surrounded by hay. A ray of light shines down on the goat, making her the centerpiece of the image.
Sadly, the Instagram photo was posted in mourning of the goat's death. "You had a damn good long run sweets," the 35-year-old "Magic Mike" actor wrote in the caption.
The goat's name was Heather and, unbeknownst to most, a longtime member of the Tatum family, which also includes his wife, Jenna Dewan.
While it's saddening to learn of Heather's existence through her passing, the fact that Tatum owned her in the first place isn't surprising: Tatum is also the proud parent of a rescue horse named Smoke ...
... as well as two dogs - Lulu and Meeka.
(In case you didn't know, Tatum really loves dogs.)
Tatum is many things, but it's good to know that with his many talents also comes genuine compassion and care toward rescue farm animals.
