"Work of art" isn't usually the first thing that comes to mind when we think of bugs. Some insects can be terrifying or slimy - but these guys are their own artistic creations.

Rosy maple moths can be found in areas within the U.S. and Canada with lots of trees, and can be any color from unmarked white to deep yellow and pink. They're also SUPER cute.

We're all pretty familiar with ladybugs, but you might not know there are actually 5,000 different species of them. Many farmers love these adorable little gals and guys for their appetite for plant-eating bugs.

A fun fact about the praying mantis is that he can turn his head 180 degrees to search for prey, and has five different eyes.
This fuzzy little lady is a squeaking silk moth, and she's named pretty accurately - whenever she's disturbed, she squeaks.

Grasshoppers do indeed eat grass, and their different sets of legs have very distinct uses: Their back legs are used for hopping and making noise, and their front legs are used for eating and walking.

The orchid mantis tricks her prey by mimicking a beautiful flower and luring them straight to her.

The devil's flower mantis is one of the largest species of preying mantis around. They are known for mimicking flowers to confuse predators.
