Baby Rhinos Eager For Mealtime Sound Like Nothing We've Ever Heard

Baby rhinos might just make the cutest noises you've ever heard.

A recent video shows six young rhinos, orphaned by poachers, waiting for their breakfast at a rhino sanctuary. They're so excited they can hardly wait for their meal, nipping at their carer's hands and even each other - and making the sweetest little noises in anticipation.

More than 1,200 rhinos were poached in South Africa last year, the worst year on record. Many of them left behind babies like these.

Fortunately, several groups are working to make sure survivors of these attacks have a safe place to recover -and get regular meals, as these little guys have discovered. If you'd like to help, you can make a donation to rhino rescue Saving the Survivors here.
