Injured Cub Found By Person Who Knew Exactly What To Do

A 1-month-old fox cub had been attacked and left for dead, but she had luck on her side when she was found by none other than a professional veterinarian and her husband.

While going on a nature hike, the couple heard a faint, almost inaudible cry. (Click here to hear the ridiculously cute sound.)

The noise was coming from a small fox cub, who had dried blood and an open wound on her neck, likely from an attack by another animal.

"We can do one of two things," said the man's voice behind the camera. His wife quickly responded, "I'll take it home," and she scooped up the fox in her jacket.

"It's OK." The woman, who also happens to be a veterinarian, told the tiny fox, "We'll get you something to eat."

"See you 'round, little buddy," the man said to his new furry friend, knowing that soon she'd run free in the wild where she belongs.
