'Angel Dog' Appears In Photo Next To His Grieving Owner

Sometimes, our connections to our pets are beyond explanation. Ashley Lang's treasured dog Wagner passed away recently - and Lang wanted to lay him to rest in his favorite park.

Lang and Wagner, a golden retriever, spent 12 happy years together. A friend snapped a photo as Lang scattered the ashes of her beloved pup - and that's when they noticed something unusual.

The photo Lang's friend took seemed to show the silhouette of a dog, leaping up into the air. Lang told CBS Chicago that she thinks the "vision" was Wagner's way of saying goodbye for the last time.

"It's pretty remarkable," Lang said. "Everyone keeps calling him the angel dog." The stunning photo is more proof that when it comes to our pets, love can defy reason.
