Amazing Two-Legged Puppy Can Still Run And Play

Everyone, meet the most amazing two-legged pup we've ever seen. Duncan Lou Who, a four-month-old boxer puppy, was born with a "severely deformed" back half. His pelvis was deformed and his legs had fused together with no way to separate them, according to Panda Paws Rescue, which houses him. Panda Paws decided the best way to give Duncan Lou Who a great life would be to amputate his rear legs--but, amazingly, he can run along just fine without them.

He is now 16 weeks old, does physical therapy every day to correct the damage to his spine since birth, is regularly going to be doing hydrotherapy for life to help support his muscles and he also has a custom wheelchair to give him a second option of mobility.

That physical therapy includes a daily warm water massage, because Duncan is supporting his entire weight with only two legs. The rescue group also works to stretch and correct Duncan's spine, which is curved, says Panda Paws, "like a shrimp or seahorse." That can cause problems down the road, so it's important to straighten him out as much as possible.

Panda Paws says he's a remarkably healthy puppy, with a normal appetite despite his deformity, effective bladder control, and, they say, a complete lack of pain. And just look at those floppy ears!
