After A Stressful Night Apart, Two Lion Brothers Reunite

When two lion brothers, Tau and Bandit, finally reconnect after a long night apart, the reunion is heartwarming.

Lions are known to be the most social of the big cat species. While many lions live in prides made up of five or six females and one or two males, others live a more nomadic lifestyle, either alone or -- like this charming twosome -- in pairs. Because males are often expelled from their pride at a young age to prevent competition, many males become nomads, preferring to travel with other, related males that were also excluded. Brotherly love has a benefit -- these males can protect one another and hunt together.
