Japan's brutal dolphin hunt continues in Taiji, as a pod of 14 bottlenose dolphins was herded into the cove in the early morning. Three dolphins were chosen for captivity, while the 11 others were slaughtered for their meat.

Meanwhile, activists from Sea Shepherd's Cove Guardians have released new images of the baby albino dolphin that was captured last month in the cove and taken to nearby Taiji Whale Museum. The dolphin, dubbed "Angel," (also called "Shoju" by Sea Shepherd captain Paul Watson) is shown swimming in a small tank in one of the park's holding pools.
