Huge Herd Of Goats Sneaks Off To Take A Stroll Through The Neighborhood

"This is the craziest thing to happen all quarantine" 😲

This herd of goats was hired to munch away at an overgrown hillside in California, but they decided to sneak away on a little adventure instead.

And it didn't go unnoticed.

Zach Roelands had spotted the hungry herd at work near his San Jose neighborhood, corralled behind a fence to clear away the overgrowth. That's where they were when he stepped out to the store, anyway.

But that isn't where they stayed.

"When I got back from the store all the goats had broken through the fence and were wreaking havoc on our street," Roeland tweeted."This is the craziest thing to happen all quarantine."

According to Mercury News, the goats' romp through the neighborhood was relatively brief; they were reportedly rounded up to continue their work on the weeds not long after.

And though they did munch on some hedges along the way, the parade of goats came as a nice surprise for some residents:

“We absolutely loved watching the goats,” Amit Patel told the news outlet. “It was especially a welcome change in the shelter-in-place time.”
